HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 65 ZZ6.5 ZZ A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N WHEREAS, the Director of the Health Department has informed the City Council that weeds, grass, and uncultivated plants have been permitted to grow upon the hereinafter des- cribed property in violation of Article III of Chapter 16 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas; and, WHEREAS, the said Director has informed the City Council that the owners of said property have failed to cut down and remove said weeds, grass, and uncultivated plants within ten (10) days after legal notice to such owners to do so; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: That the Director of the Health Department be and he is hereby authorized to have cut down and removed the weeds, grass and uncultivated plants growing upon the following described pro- perty, situated in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, to -wit: and, Lot 15, Block 2, Pineywoods Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; Lots 11 2, 33 49 6, 7, 8, 9, Block 4, Pineywoods Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Block 2, Pineywoods Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; Lot 10, Block 35, Calder Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accordance with Article 4436 of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas and Section 16-26 be done at the expense of the City, on the account of the owners of such property, and such expense shall be assessed on the above described property. 1970.
