AR E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City Charter of Beaumont requires a
letting for competitive bidding for all purchases in excess
of $2,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, notice of the letting for bids for the pur-
chase of an ammonia printing system for the Department of
Public Works was duly made in accordance with law; and,
WHEREAS, only one bid was received for the printing
system, and that bid is recommended by appropriate depart-
ment heads as acceptable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That, the Department of Public Works be, and it is hereby,
authorized to purchase a Model 720, 40 Watt Anhydrous
Ammonia printing system from Charles Bruning Company at the
bid price of $2,745.48, in accordance with the terms of the
notice of bid and the bid.
