A R E S 0 L U T I.0 N
WHEREAS, the County of Jefferson is desirous of
entering into an agreement with the City of Beaumont for
an Air Pollution Control Program, whereby the County will
provide the.necessary funds and the City will provide the
necessary laboratory equipment and supplies; and
WHEREAS, it appears that such a mutual undertaking
is in the best interests of the City of Beaumont and its
citizens, and will result in a more effective tool with
which. to continue the vital. fight against air pollution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,authorized to
execute an agreement with the County of Jefferson to
establish and promulgate an Air Pollution Control Program,
and to provide the personnel and laboratory equipment
necessary as provided in the terms of the said agreement.
