BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, TEXAS
That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute
and deliver on behalf of The City of Beaumont, a contract
with Lindy Dennis Air Conditioning Company of Beaumont,
Texas, for furnishing two (2) air conditioners to be in-
stalled in the Accounting Department for the sum of
Two Thousand Three Hundred Eighty -Four ($2,384.00) Dollars;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said
contract and to affix the Seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.

Subject: Replacement of Air Conditioning Units in Accounting Office
COMMENT:
The existing two 5 -ton water cooled units in the Accounting
Office have been extremely noisey and has given considerable
trouble in the past several years. These units are old and water
cooled. The amount of waste water used is 36 gallons per minute.
I recommend replacing these units with two 5 -ton air cooled
split G.E. units. The old units will be stored at the Electrical
Department.
