A RE SOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That in compliance with Ordinance No. 70-40 codified as Sec-
tion 27-.1 and 27-1.1 of the Code of Ordinances of The City of
Beaumont there is hereby appointed a Charitable Solicitation
Commission composed of the following five members who shall
serve without remuneration: Lum Edwards, Jr., Robert B. Todd,
Mrs. Tommy Byrd, Mrs. Ray Welbourn, and Mrs. Muriel LeBlanc.
The Commission is directed to choose its chairman and vice-
chairman from among its members.
PASSED by the City Council this the 28th day of July,
1970.
