R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received on July 14, 1970, for
furnishing manhole rings and covers for municipal purposes
for The City of Beaumont for the period beginning July 1, 1970
and ending July 1, 1971; and,
WHEREAS, Mabry Foundry and Supply Company, submitted
a bid for furnishing manhole rings and covers, which was the lowest
and best bid received, and the City Manager recommended that the
bid of Mabry Foundry and Supply Company, for the furnishing of
manhole rings and covers be accepted and that a contract be
entered into with said Company, and that manhole rings and covers
be purchased from Mabry Foundry and Supply Company, under said
contract;
NOW,,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be,.and he is hereby, authorized to ex-
ecute on behalf of The City of Beaumont a contract dated
1970, with Mabry Foundry and Supply Company, for the
furnishing of manhole rings and covers for the period beginning
July 1, 1970, and ending July 1, 1971; and the City Clerk is
hereby authorized to attest to said contract and to affix the
Seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
