A R E S O L'U T I O N
WHEREAS, on the 28th day of June, 19.70, The City of
Beaumont recovered judgment against JOE CUNNINGHAM, doing busi-
ness as CUNNINGHAM ENGINEERING CO., in the amount of $67.3.69,
said judgment being in Cause No. 18049, in the County Court
at Law of Jefferson County, Texas, and being recorded in the
office of the County Clerk, Jefferson County, Texas, in the
Abstract of Judgment Records in Volume 32, Page 379; and,
WHEREAS, the amount of said judgment has been tendered
to The City of Beaumont and a release of any and all liens exist-
ing by reason of such judgment is desired, and the City Council
is of the opinion that such release should be executed;
NOW, THEREFORE, -BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized, for and
in.consideration of the sum of $673.69, together with interest
and costs, to execute and deliver an instrument releasing any
and all liens existing by reason of such judgment, and the City
Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instrument and to
affix the Seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
