A RES OLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received on May 12, 1970, for
furnishing aluminum sulphate for municipal purposes for The
City of Beaumont for the period beginning June 1, 1970, and
ending May 31, 1971; and,
WHEREAS, Allied Chemical Corporation, Industrial
Chemical Division submitted a bid for furnishing aluminum
sulphate, which was the lowest and best bid received; and
the City Manager recommended that the bid of Allied Chemical
Corporation, Industrial Chemical Division, for the furnishing
of aluminum sulphate be accepted and that a contract be entered
into with said Company, and that aluminum sulphate be purchased
from Allied Chemical Corporation, Industrial Chemical Division,
under said contract; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to ex-
ecute on behalf of The City of Beaumont a contract dated
�1n L r , 1970, with Allied Chemical Corporation,
Industrial Chemical Division for the furnishing of aluminum
sulphate for the period beginning June 1, 1970, and ending
May 31, 1971; and the.City Clerk is hereby authorized to
attest to said contract and to affix the Seal of The City of
Beaumont :thereto.
