A. R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City Charter of The City of Beaumont
requires this Council prior to the end of the fiscal year to
designate one or more qualified public accountants who shall
make an independent audit of accounts and other evidence of
financial transactions of the City Government prior to the
end of each fiscal year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:

That a Certified Public Accountantef this City, is hereby
designated to make the annual independent audit of accounts
and other evidence of financial transactions of the City
Government for the 1969-197.0 fiscal year, and to this end
shall have the full cooperation of each office and department
of the City as may be required and requested; and,

That the Certified Public Accountan4 shall make interim reports
to this Council or as requested by this Council in addition
to the final report and summary of final report as contem-
plated by the Charter.
