A RE SOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received on March 24, 1970, for
furnishing liquid chlorine for municipal purposes for The City
of Beaumont for the period beginning May 1, 1970 and ending
April 30, 1971; and,
WHEREAS, Thompson -Hayward Chemical Company submitted
a bid for furnishing liquid chlorine, which was the lowest and
best bid received, and the City Manager recommended that the
bid of Thompson -Hayward Chemical Company, for the furnishing
of liquid chlorine be accepted and that a contract be entered
into with said Company, and that liquid chlorine be purchased
from Thompson -Hayward Chemical Company under said contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to ex-
ecute on behalf of The City of Beaumont a contract dated
o 1970, with Thompson -Hayward Chemical
Company, for the furnishing of liquid chlorine for the period
beginning May 1, 1970 and ending April 30, 1971; and the City
Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said contract and to
affix the Seal of The City of Beaumont theret .
