WHEREAS, bids were received on January 20, 1970, for
furnishing gasoline for municipal.purposes for The City of
Beaumont for the period beginning February 1, 1970 and ending
January 31, 1971; and,
WHEREAS, Atlantic Richfield Company, Sinclair Oil
Division submitted a bid for furnishing gasoline, which was
the lowest and best bid received, and the City Manager
recommended that the bid of Atlantic Richfield Company,•Sinclair
Oil Division for the furnishing of gasoline be accepted and
that a contract be entered into with said Company, and that
gasoline be purchased from Atlantic Richfield Company, Sinclair
Oil Division under said contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute
on behalf of The City of Beaumont a contract dated
1970, with Atlantic Richfield Company, Sinclair Oil Division
for the furnishing of gasoline for the period beginning
February 1, 1970 and ending January 31, 1971; and the City
Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said contract and to
affix the Seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
