A RE SOLUTION
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution dated March 24, 19703
'The City of Beaumont did, on March 24, 1970, enter into a
contract with Trotti & Thomson, Inc. for hot mix asphalt overlay
on certain streets within the City of Beaumont, at a total con-
tract price, based upon estimated quantity of $105,569.70; and,
WHEREAS, said contract provides that in case the actual

quantity of any major item should become as much as 20% more
than, or 20% less than the estimated or contemplated quantity
for such items, then either party to this Agreement, upon demand,
shall be entitled to a revised consideration upon the portion of -
the work above or below 20% of the estimated quantity; and,
WHEREAS, The City of Beaumont has requested an extension
of the aforesaid contract in the sum of $21,109.90, which said
extension is for hot mix asphalt overlay of Buford from Penn-
sylvania to Carroll, Wiess from Grand to Gulf and Live Oak from
Pine to Gulf;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT-
That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute
on behalf of The City of Beaumont the Supplemental Agreement for
changes and alterations as aforesaid; and the City Clerk is
hereby authorized to attest to said Supplemental Agreement and
to affix the Seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
PASSED by the City Council this the 14th day of April,
1970.
