R E S 0 L -U T I O N
WHEREAS, on March 17, 19%0, the City of Beaumont
received bids for material equipment and labor for the.
construction of sanitary sewer lines in Elizabeth, Mulberry,
Tevis, Cypress area;•and,
WHEREAS, Joseph V.-Tantillo, Inc., submitted a bid in
the sum of $:18,649.00 (Thirty -Eight Thousand and Six Hundred
Forty -Nine Dollars), which, after all bids had been tabulated,
was the lowest and best bid received by the City, and the same
was accepted and the contract awarded to Joseph V. Tantillo,
Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
contract with Joseph V. Tantillo, Inc. should be executed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to
execute on behalf of the City of Beaumont the above described
contract; and be it further resolved that the City Clerk is
hereby authorized to attest to same and to affix the Seal of
the City of Beaumont thereto.
