WHEREAS, on March 17, 1970, the City received bids
for the construction of a reinforced concrete tennis court at
Caldwood Park in The City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, E. R. Dupuis Concrete Works, Inc. submitted
a bid in the sum of $3,680.00 which, after all bids had been
tabulated, was the lowest and best bid received by the City,
and same was accepted and the contract awarded to E. R. Dupuis
Concrete Works,.Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
contract with E. R. Dupuis Concrete Works, Inc. should be
executed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to execute
on behalf of The City of Beaumont the above described contract;
and be it further resolved that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized to attest to same and to affix the Seal of The City
of Beaumont thereto.
