A. R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Frank Dover, 0. N. Eldridge, C. A. Kohler
and M. L. Lefler, Jr., residents of Jefferson County,.Texas,
are desirous of making.a gift of the herein described property
to the City of .Beaumont; and, -
WHEREAS, the said Frank Dover, 0. N. Eldridge, C. A.
Kohler and M. L. Lefler, Jr., did execute and deliver to the
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, a deed of convey-
ance dated 9;L �p ���®, to such property
being more particularly described as follows, to wit:
BEING a 4.439 acre tract of land out of the
J. W. Bullock League in Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas and being out of that certain
tract of land conveyed by the South Park
Independent School. District to M. L. Lefler, Jr.
and being more particularly described by metes
and bounds as follows:
FOR locative point begin at an iron stake
locating,the southwest corner of Block No. 7
of Silver City Addition; said iron stake also
being in the North line of Rena Street;
THENCE South 0° 05' East 70 feet to an iron
stake locating the southeast'and the beginning
corner of the tract of land herein described;
THENCE South 89° 25' West 424.40 feet to an
iron stake in the East right-of-way line of
Usan Street drainage ditch;
THENCE North 0.° 45.5' West with the East line
of Usan Street drainage -ditch 450.03 feet to a
square concrete monument for corner;
- - - - THENCE Nor-th 88 ° 55-' East -429: 81- -feet--to -a -steel- -- -
rod for corner;
THENCE South 00 05' East 454.70 feet to the
Place of Beginning containing 4.439 acres of
land.

WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes this gift to be
of great value to the City of Beaumont and its future progress;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the deed for .the said property is hereby accepted by the
City of Beaumont. s�
