A RE S O LUT I O N
WHEREAS, on March 10, 1970, the City received bids
for the hot mix asphalt overlay of Avenue "A'' (from Washington
Boulevard to Elgie); Concord (from Delaware to East Lucas);
Elgie (from Spur 380 to Avenue "A"); Kenneth (from Harriot
to Woodrow); Main (from Hickory to Blanchette); Washington
Boulevard (from Spur 380 to 4th'Street); Woodrow (from High-
land to Kenneth); all intersecting street intersections in
The City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, Trotti & Thomson, Inc. submitted a bid in
the sum of $105,569.70 which, after all bids had been tabulated,
was the lowest and best bid received by the City, and same
was accepted,and the contract awarded to Trotti & Thomson, Inc.;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that
the contract with Trotti & Thomson, Inc. should be executed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
' OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT-
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to execute
on behalf of The City of Beaumont the above described contract;
and be it further resolved that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized to attest to same and to affix the seal of The
- - City of Beaumont thereto..
