HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 68 YY6F�/Y A RE SOLUTION F WHEREAS, the developers of Sheraton Woods Addition, Lots 1 & 2, Block 6; Lots 1 thru 6, Block 7; Lots 1 thru 8. Block 8; and Lots 9 thru 16, Block 9, have completed the street, drainage, water line, and sanitary sewer improvements serving said Addition; the improvements on Westgate Drive consist of five inch (5") reinforced concrete pavement with six inch (6") integral concrete curb, forty-one feet (41') in width back of curb to back of curb; the improvements on Norwood Drive consist of five inch (5") reinforced concrete pavement with six inch (6") integral concrete curb, twenty-seven feet (27') in width back of curb to back of curb; and the developers of said addition are desirous of having these im- provements accepted and maintained by the City; and, WHEREAS, the city engineer recommends that said im- provements qualify for acceptance for permanent maintenance; and the City Council is of the opinion that said improvements should be accepted and maintained by The City of Beaumont; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: That the street, drainage, water line, and sanitary sewer im- provements, as above described, in Sheraton Woods Addition be and the same are hereby accepted by The City of Beaumont and shall be continuously maintained by said city. PASSED by the City Council this the 17th day of March, 1970.
