WHEREAS, bids were received on December 30, 1969,
for furnishing limestone base material for municipal purposes
for The City of Beaumont for the period beginning January 1,
1970 and ending December 31, 1970; and,
WHEREAS, Davidson Construction Materials, Inc. sub-
mitted a bid for furnishing limestone base material, which
was the lowest and best bid received, and the City Manager
recommended that the bid of Davidson Construction Materials,
Inc. for the furnishing of limestone base material be accepted
and that a contract be entered into with said Company, and
that limestone base material be purchased from Davidson
Construction Materials, Inc. under said contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to, ex=
ecute on behalf of the City of Beaumont a contract dated
f 7. ?� 1970, with Davidson Construction
Materials, Inc. for the furnishing of limestone base material
for the period beginning January 1, 1970 and ending December
31, 1970; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest
to said contract and to affix the Seal'of The Ci y of Beaumont
thereto.
