WHEREAS, the developers of Towne Oaks Place Addition,
Lot 2, Block 1, have completed the street, drainage, water
line, and sanitary sewer improvements serving said addition;
the inprovements on Lexington Drive consist of six inch (6")
reinforced concrete pavement with six inch (6'') integral
concrete curb, forty-one feet (41') in width -back of curb to
back of curb; and the developers of said addition are desirous
of having these improvements accepted and maintained by the
City; and,
WHEREAS, the city engineer recommends that said im-
provements qualify for acceptance for permanent maintenance;
and the City Council is of the opinion that said improvements
should be accepted and maintained by The City of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT
That the street, drainage, water line, and sanitary sewer im-
provements, as above described, in Towne Oaks Place Addition
be and the same are hereby accepted by The City of Beaumont
and shall be continuously maintained by the said City.
PASSED by the City Council this the -17th day of
February, 1970.
