WHEREAS, The Beaumont State Bank of Beaumont, Texas,
has tendered an easement to The City of Beaumont for sanitary
sewer purposes across -property owned by it in The City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; said easement being dated

January ®, 1970; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purposes
of said easement and is of the opinion that the acceptance
of said easement for sanitary sewer purposes is necessary
and desirable and that same should be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, in consideration of. such conveyance per
easement, The City of Beaumont desires to quitclaim any right,
title, or interest it may have in a 6 inch sewer line traversing
property owned by Beaumont State Bank; and,
WHEREAS, the relocation of the sewer line will be at
no cost ,to the City, but will be borne entirely by the
Beaumont -State Bank;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That said easement tendered by Beaumont State Bank to the
City of Beaumont be and the same is hereby in all things
accepted; and
That a quitclaim deed as to right, title and interest
of The City of Beaumont to the aforementioned 6 inch sewer
line now existing be executed by the City of Beaumont in behalf
of the Beaumont State Bank.
PASSED by the City Council this day of January,
1970.
