A R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Director of the Health Department has
informed the City Council that weeds, grass, and uncultivated.
plants have been permitted to grow upon the hereinafter de-
scribed property in violation of Article III of Chapter 16 of
the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the said Director has informed the City
Council that the owners of said property have failed to cut
down and remove said weeds, grass, and uncultivated plants
within ten (10) days after legal notice to such owners to do.
so;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the Director of the Health Department be and he is hereby
authorized to have cut down and removed the weeds, grass and
uncultivated plants growing upon the following described pro-
perty, situated in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, to wit:
Lot 19, Block 6, Bel Air Addition to The City
of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
Lot 20, Block 6, Bel Air Addition to The City
of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
Lot 18, Block 7, Bel Air Addition to The City
of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
Lot 8; Block 12, Bel Air Addition to The City
of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
Lot 8, Block 13, Bel Air Addition to The City
of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
Lot 3, Block 19, Bel Air Addition to The City
of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
Lots 9 & 10, Block 6, Bowenville Addition to
The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
West 50 Feet of Lot 15, Block 11, Gulf Terrace
Addition to The City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas;
EC 32 feet of Lot 1 & 7, Block 7, Jirou
Addition to The City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas;
and,
Lots 5 & 6, Block 3, Woodland Acres Addition
to The City of -Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas;
Tract 28, Plat B -12,-J. W. Bullock Survey to
The City of Beaumont,Jefferson County, Texas;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accordance with Article
4436 of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas and Section 16-26
of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, such work shall
be done at the expense of the City, on, the account of the
owners of such property, and such expense shall be assessed
on.the above described property.
