A. RES OLUTION
WHEREAS, on September 9, 1969, the City received bids
and opened bids on September .16, 1969, for the construction
of a prefabricated metal building complete with foundation,
interior slab, doors,' and ventilation equipment to be"located
at the Electrical Department in The City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, Galaxy Building Corporation submitted a bid
in the sum of $13,266.00 for such prefabricated metal building
construction; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Galaxy Building Corporation is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted and contract entered
into with Galaxy Building Corporation for said construction
of a prefabricated metal building;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEA.UMONT'
That the bid of Galaxy Building Corporation be accepted and
the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
on behalf of the City of Beaumont the contract dated October
1969, with Galaxy Building Corporation for.the con-
struction of a prefabricated metal building complete with
foundation, interior slab, doors, and ventilation equipment
to be located at the Electrical Department in The City of
Beaumont, in accordance with specifications submitted to
bidders for the sum of $13,266.00; and the City Clerk is
hereby authorized to attest to said. contract and --to -affix ---
the Seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
