A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, bids were received on July 29, 1969, for
furnishing sand -fill for municipal purposes for The City of
Beaumont for the period beginning August 1, 1969 and ending
July 31, 1970; and,
WHEREAS, Rose City Sand Pit.submitted a bid for
furnishing sand -fill, which was the lowest and best bid re-
ceived, and the City Manager recommended that the bid of
Rose City Sand Pit for the furnishing of sand -fill be accepted
and that a contract be entered into with said Company, and
that sand -fill be purchased from Rose City Sand Pit under
said contract; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to ex-
ecute on behalf of The City of Beaumont a contract dated
August 12, 1969, with Rose City.Sand Pit for the furnishing
of sand -fill for the period beginning August 1, 1969 and
ending July 31, 1970; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
to attest to said contract and to affix the Seal of The City
of Beaumont thereto.
