A RES OLUTION
WHEREAS, the Director of the Health Department has
informed the City Council that weeds, grass, and uncultivated
plants have been permitted to grow upon the hereinafter de
scribed property in violation of Article III of Chapter 16 of
the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the said Director has informed the City
Council that the owners of said property have failed to cut
down and remove said weeds, grass, and uncultivated plants
within ten (10) days after legal notice to such owners to do
so;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEA.UMONT:
That the Director of the.Health Department be and he is hereby
authorized to have cut down and removed the weeds, grass and
uncultivated plants growing upon the following described pro-
perty; situated in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, to -wit:
and,
Lot 16, Block 10, Cartwright Terrace Addition
to The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
Lot 13, Block 36, W. W. Chaison Addition to The
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
Lots 7 & 8, Block 14, Oakwood Addition to The
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
Lot 8, Block 2, Rosemont Addition to The City
of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
Lot 22E, Block C, Tyrrell Park Addition to The
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;.
Lot 29, Block C, Tyrrell Park Addition to The
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
Lot 33, Block C, Tyrrell Park Addition to The
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accordance with Article
4436 of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas and Section 16-26
of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, such work shall
be done at -the expense of the City,.on the account of the'
owners of such property, and such expense shall be assessed
on the above described property.
PASSED by the City Council this 19th day of August,
1969.
