A RE SOLUTION
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of May, 1969, the City Council
passed a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute on
behalf of The City of Beaumont a contract with El Mina Temple
A.A.O.N.M.S. of Galvestion, Texas, leasing to the said El Mina
Temple the Arena Area of the Fair Park for the purpose of
staging a circus for the period of September 5, 6, and 7, 1969,
at a consideration of Four Hundred ($400.00.) Dollars; and,
WHEREAS, the consideration of Four Hundred ($400.00)
Dollars for three days specified in said Resolution has been
changed to Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars for three days, which
said change is consistant with the consideration specified in
other contracts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to amend
on behalf of The City of Beaumont the contract between The City
of Beaumont and E1 Mina Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. of Galveston, Texas,
leasing to the said E1 Mina Temple the Arena Area of the Fair
Park for the purpose of staging a circus for the period of
September 5, 6, and 7, 196.9, _at a consideration of Three Hun-
dred ($300.00) Dollars, said contract bearing the date of
May 20, 1969.

1969.
