A. R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Ben J. Rogers, Trustee,.has tendered an easement
to The City of Beaumont for street and highway purposes across
and under the following described property, to wit:
Being a 0.710 acre tract of land out of the
Frederick Bigner Survey in Beaumont, Jefferson,
County, Texas and being out'.cfthe Crow tract of
land and being more particularly described by
metes and bounds as -follows;
BEGINNING at an iron stake in the West right-
of-way line of the Crow Road; said iron stake
locating the Northeast corner of the K.T.R.M.-
TV tract of land and the Southeast corner of a
3.39 acre tract of land called Chiass:on First
tract and the Southeast and the beginning corner
of the tract of land herein described;
THENCE North -0 degrees 16 minutes 45 seconds West
with the West line of the Crow Road 517.30'feet
to an iron stake in the South right-of-way line
of U.S. Highway No. 69;.
THENCE North 61 degrees 15 minutes 45 seconds West
with the South right-of-way line .of U.S. Highway
No. 69 a distance of 88.05 feet to a concrete
monument for corner;
THENCE South 21 degrees 38 minutes 45 seconds East
27.90 feet to an iron stake for corner;
THENCE South 4 degrees 05 minutes 45 seconds East
177.30 feet to an iron stake;
THENCE South 0 degrees 16 minutes 45.seconds East
252.12 feet to a concrete monument locating the
beginning point of a curve to the right whose radius
is 545 feet and whose central angle is 11 degrees
ll.minutes 38 seconds;
THENCE in a Southwesterly direction with.'the arc of
said curve an arc distance of 106.48 feet to a con-
crete monument placed in the North line of the K.T.
R.M.-TV tract of ground; and in the South line of
Chiasson First tract;
THENCE North 88 degrees 57 minutes 45 seconds East
with said line 64.82 feet to the place of beginning
containing 0.710 acres of land._
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of
said conveyance and is of the opinion that the acceptance of said
easement is necessary and desirable, and that same should be
accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That said easement above referred to, as tendered by Ben J. Rogers,
Trustee, to The City of Beaumont, be and the same is hereby
accepted in all things.
PASSED by the City Council this 12th day of August, 1969.
