A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of July, 1969, the City
Council passed a Resolution authorizing the City Manager
to execute on behalf of The City of Beaumont an agreement
between The City of Beaumont and The State of Texas for
safety lighting at the Intersection of U.S. 69 East and
West Vrontage Roads with S.H. 105 in Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the said Resolution was incorrect in that
it should have authorized the Mayor -to execute said Agreement
with The State of Texas for traffic signals at said Inter-
section:
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute on behalf of The City of Beaumont an agreement
between The City of Beaumont and The State of Texas for traffic
signals at the Intersection of U.S. 69 East and West Frontage
Roads with S.H. 105 in Beaumont, Jefferson County,Texas,
said agreement bearing the date of July 1, 1969.
PASSED by the City Council this 15th day of July,
1969.
