A RE SOLUTION
WHEREAS, a request has been made that the name of South
Texas State Fairgrounds be changed to Fair Park; and,
WHEREAS, such request has been considered by the City
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That South Texas State Fairgrounds in Beaumont be, and the name
is hereby, changed and shall henceforth be known as Fair Park.
PASSED by the City Council this 27th day of May, 1969.
