A R E S 0 L U T I.0 N
WHEREAS, on March 25,'1969, the City received bids
for the cleaning and painting of the exterior of the 1,500,000
gallon elevated storage tank located at 3705 East Lucas; and,
WHEREAS, Trust-Kote, Inc. submitted a bid -in the
amount of $8,800.00, which, after all bids had been tabulated,
was the lowest and best bid received by the City, and same was
accepted and the contract awarded for the cleaning and painting
of the exterior of the 1,500,000 gallon elevated storage tank
located at 3705 East Lucas to Trust-Kote, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
contract with Trust-Kote, Inc. should be executed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That Jimmie P. Cokinos, City Manager, be and he is hereby auth-
orized to execute on behalf of The City of Beaumont the contract
dated May 20, 1969, for the cleaning and painting of the exterior
of the 1,500,000 gallon elevated storage tank located at 3705
East Lucas with Trust-Kote, Inc.; and be it further resolved
that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and
to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
PASSED by the City Council this 20th day of May, 1969.
