A RESOLUT ION
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of April, 1969, the City
Manager was authorized by resolution to execute on behalf of
The City of Beaumont an easement to Gulf States Utilities'
Company and Southwestern Bell. Telephone Company for a pole
line upon a tract of land in the Hezekiah Williams Survey,
Jefferson County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, said resolution should have authorized
the City Manager to execute on behalf of The City of Beaumont
an easement to Gulf States Utilities Company and Southwestern
and
Bell Telephone Company for underground electric/service lines
on the above mentioned tract of land;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute on behalf of The City of Beaumont an easement to Gulf
States Utilities Company and Southwestern Bell Telephone
and
Company for underground electric/service lines upon a tract
of land in the Hezekiah Williams Survey, Jefferson County,
Texas, the exact location being described in said easement
dated April 29, 1969; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
to attest thereto and to affix the Seal of The City of
Beaumont thereto.
PASSED by the City Council this the 29th day of
April, 1969.
