A RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on the 31st day of.July, 1962, The City of.
Beaumont recovered -.judgment against LEWIS SACKER,:doing business
-is THE CRICKETT STEAK HOUSE, -.in the amount of $136.86, said
judgment being in Cause No. 21066, ,in the County Court at Law,.
of.Jefferson County, Texas; and an Abstract of Judgment, having
been filed in.Volume 15,.Page 275 of,the Abstract of Judgment Re=
cords of Jefferson County; Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the judgment against LEWIS SACKER, doing business
as THE CRICKETT STEAK HOUSE, should not have been.entered because
the defendant, LEWIS SACKER, was not the owner and person in
possession of the property for the taxable.year 19.61.
NOW, THEREFORE,.BE,IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, that the�C-kfy" Manager, -be and he is hereby; .
authorized,. -for and in consideration of the foregoing premises,
to execute and deliver an instrument to LEWIS SACKER, doing business.
as THE.CRICKETT STEAK HOUSE, releasing to the said LEWIS SACKER,
doing business as -THE CRICKETT STEAKHOUSE, any and all liens
existing by reason of such judgment; and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized to attest to said instrument and to affix the seal of
The City.of Beaumont -thereto.
