HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 158 XX/ 1 c' X X A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N WHEREAS, the developers of Audubon Park Addition, Block 1, Lots 1 through 22 and Block 2, Lots. 1 through 5, have completed the street, drainage, water line, and sanitary sewer improvements serving said addition; the street improve- ments on Ivy Lane, Wilchester Lane and Wilchester Circle consist of five (5") inch reinforced concrete with six (6") inch integral curb for a width of twenty-seven (27') feet from back of curb to back of curb. The improvements on Gladys Avenue consist of widening the existing thirty-two and one-half (32.5') foot flexible base pavement eight and one-half (8-1/2') feet on the south side with six (6") inches of lime stabilized subgrade,-ten (10") inches compacted sand -shell, asphalt wearing surface,.and a two (2') foot wide standard concrete curb and gutter, to a total width of forty-one (41') feet, back of curb to back of curb; and the developers of said addition are desirous of having these improvements accepted and maintained by the City; and, WHEREAS, the city engineer recommends that said improvements qualify for acceptance for permanent mainta- nance; and the City Council is of the opinion that said improvements should be accepted and maintained by The City of Beaumont; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: That the street, drainage, water line and sanitary sewer im- provements, as_ above.described, in Audubon Park Addition be and the same are hereby accepted by The City of Beaumont and shall be continuously maintained by the said city.
