Authorizing the vacating and closing of the alley located-
i'n Block Ninety (90) N the Cartwright Addition, and Block Thirteen
(13) of the -Arlington Addition to the City of Beaumont.
WHEREAS, a. petition duly signed by F. C. Smith, R. B. Snod—
grass,-S'. H. Adams, �N. 0. Bell, I. R. Perrill, A. Brand, D. V,
Woods, T. J. Brown, E. S. Rigsby, 0. G. Hyde, John H. DeLacie, J. F.
Coffy, J. Bland, E. D. Thompson, F. S. Sheffield, Winter King, J. C.
Milliard, Ivy Tey s, Mrs.. B. F. Calhoun, Edw.-Thoma, Lary Conroy,
F. H. Ndwman, W, V King, A. E. Rogers, J. .G.. Reese, K. Dorph,
owners of Block No. Ninety (90) A the Cartwright Addition, and
Block No. Thirteen (13) of the Arlington Addition to the City of
Beaumont, has been presented to the City Commission of the City of
Beaumont requesting that .such alley be closed and vacated.
NOW2 THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT
That the alley located in Block Ninety (90) of the
Cartwright -Addition and Block Thirteen (13) of the Arlington Addi—
tion toAhe City -of Beaumont be, and the same is, hereby authorized
to be vacated and closed, and that _the title to such alley shall
revert to and become the property of the respective owners of the
land in said blocks bordering on' said alley, as provided by law;
provided, however, that the closing of -this alley shall in no -tray
affect the rights of the City as to placing and maintaini.nftharei n
of any sewer or water lines, or ant Other service or utility of
the. City, or owner -of property in said blocks, all of which rights
are hereby reserved.
