Authorizing.the vacating and closing of the Alley,
located in Block One (1) of the Treadway -Butler Addition to
the. City o.f .Beaumont.
WHEREAS, a petition duly signed by R.E. Holmes, A.
Costanza, A. Bell, Vil. H. Keeney, trtr . H. 'Sweaney, J. B. Gaskins,
Sam -Hartman and George 1PV Smyth Lumber C_ ompan y.,owners_ of
One (1) of the Treadway -Butler Addition to the City of Beaumont,
has been presented to the City Commission_ of the City of Beau-.
mont requesting that'such alley be closed and vacated.
NOjr1, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COI JJTSSION OF THE CITY .OF BEAUMONT
That the alley located in Block One (1) of the Tread-
way Butler Addition to the City of Beaumont,. be and the -same is
hereby authorized to be vacated and closed, and that the title to
such'a.11ey shall revert to and become the property of the respective
owners of the land in said Block bordering on said alley, as pro-
vided by lain; provided, however, that the closing of this alley
shall An n0.,_7a.y affect the righty of the City as to placing and..
maintaining,therein�of any sewer or water lines or any other ser-
vice or utility of the City, or owner of property in said Block,
all of which rights are hereby, reserved.
