Changing the name of Ervay Street to Avenue A.
WHEREAS, citizens owning property along Ervay Street
in the City of Beaumont have requested the City Commission to
change the name of said,Street to Avenue A; the'said Street
being a continuation of Avenue A as extended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT
That the name -df Ervay Street in the City of Beaumont
from the South end of -Avenue A.thence Southward be, and it is
hereby changed to Avenue A, and from and after the passage of
this ordinance the name of said Street shall be Avenue A.
Passed by the affirmative vote of all members of the
Commission, this the day of PLr, A.D. 1926.
