There being no ordinance in effect , making appropriations
for the year 1926, as required by the _Charter of the City ,of Beaumont,
and it being necessary that expenditures be authorized in accordance
with the annual budget, creates an imneciiate public emergency ne-
cessitating the suspension of the rule.requiring ordinances to be read
on three separate days. before. passage; wherefore, said rule is here-
by suspended ,and it is enacted that this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its -passage and signature of the Mayor:
