AUTHORIZING THE VACATING AND CLOSING OF THE ALLEY
LOCATED IN BLOCK NO—THREE (3) OF THE 1C FADDIN
SECOND ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT.
WHEREAS, a petition duly signed by R. A. Wolff, J. H. David—
son, J. D. Benedetto, D. A. Meehan, N. M. Mc Kee, Mrs. Bertha D. Paggi,
Roy B. Fergusson,,=;and-_P. C. Sargent, owners of Block No. Three (3) of the
Me Faddin Second Addition to the City of Beaumont,'has been presented
to the City Commission of the City of Beaumont requesting that such al—
ley be closed and vacated.
NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COIvIEISSION
OF THE CITY OF BEAUIv�IONT :
That the alley located in Block No. Three (3) of the Mc Faddin
Second Addition to the City of Beaumont, be and the same is hereby au—
thorized to be vacated and closed, and that the title to such alley shall
revert to and become the property of the respective owners,of the land
in said Block bordering on said alley, as -provided by law; provided, how—
ever, that the closing of this alley shall in no way affect.the rights
of -the City as to placing and maintaining therein of any sewer or water-
lines or any other service or utility of the City, or owners of property
in said Block, all of which rights are hereby reserved.

The undersigned citizens, being the owners of all of
the property located in Block #3 of the MoFaddin Second Addition to
_~-- -the-City�-of- Beaumont;_ �ourided_b" Liberty,= Laurel, -Third-and- Fourth-- ~-- --- - -
Streets, respectfully petition that the alley in the said Block #3
be closed. We have found that this alley is not serving any good and
that it is a menance to the health of the community due to.the fact
that it is not properly kept free of rubbish, grass and weeds.
We ask that this petition be acted upon at your earliest
conveni once.
