AUTHORIZING THE VACATING AND CLOSING OF THE ALLEY
LOCATED IN BLOCK: NO. FOUR (4) OF THE WILCOX ADDI-
TION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT.
WHEREAS, a petition duly signed_ by Ben `idhite,. J. W.6
Henderson, 0. C. Brandt, H. Edmonson, G. C. Schultz:, Chas.
___ _ _ C.hurch,. F. _ R. , Daughtrey, A. F. Schultz,, H. Schultz, J. R. Kirby,
Eugene Polk and E. Conway Broun, owners of Block No. Four of the
Wilcox Addition to the City of Beaumont, has been presented to
the City Commission of the City of Beaumont requesting that such
alley be closed and vacated.
NOW-, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT::
That the .alley located in Block 11o. Four (4 ) of the
Wilcox Addition to the City of Beaumont, be and the same is here-
by authorized to ba vacated and closed; and that the title to
such alley shall revert to and become the property of the re-
spective o=ers of the land in said Block bordering on said alley,
as provided by-law; provided, however, that the closing of this
alley shall in no way affect the rights -of- the City as to placing
and maintaining _ther�i-n of any sewer or water lines or any other
service or utility of the City; or owners of property in said
Block., all of which rights are hereby reserved..

Texas, and that such alley become the absolute property of the ownEm
of the land in said block adjacent to and abutting on such alley, it
being understood, -how-ever, that the closing of this alley shall in no

therein any sewer or water lines or any other service or utility of
the City, or owners of property in said block.
