AN ORDINANCE
VACATING --,AND CLOSING OF, AND VACATING AND CLOSING
FANNIN STREET IN THE CITY OF BEA.UMONT DESCRIBED Aa-

strip approximately 20 feet in width along
the Borth.ends.of Lots Seven (7) to Twelve (12) in
Block Thirteen (13) ; a strip approximately, 20,.f'eet
in width along the'Borth ends of Lots Seven (7) to
Twelve (12) in Block Fourteen (14) ; . a , strip approx-
imately -20- feet in width along -the iiorth" ends of Lots -
Seven 1 7) to Twelvb (12) in -block: Fifteen (15) ; a
strip approximately' -120 feet in width along the North
ends of Lots Seven (7) , Eight (8) and Nine (9) in
Block Sixteen (16) of the Van �,iormer addition .to the
City of Beaumont, and a strip approximately 20 feet ,
in width along the .Laorth side of the triangular strip
in said block Sixteen (16) adjacent to the gest end
of Acreage vlat A-11, designated as Josey -Miller prop-
erty on the annexed plat which is marked Exhibit "A"
and hereby referred to for more particular designation
and description of the portion of said Evannin ;street
hereby vacated and closed, said 20 foot strip being
shown in black lines on said map.
WHEREAS, the portion of Fannin Street above described was
originally laid out as an 80 foot street, said 80 foot street ex-
tending.only io the length of the section of said irannin Street above
described, the rest of said street being dedicated as a 61.11 foot
street only; and
WHEREAS,, said .Street has. been paved as. a -6.1.11 _foot .street-
and-the
treet_and-the Uity Uommission- deems it advisable to close and vacate the
above described portion of said street leaving the same throughout
as a uniform street 61.11 feet in width.

OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT
That that portion of Fannim street in -the Uity of Beaumont
described as-follows.-

vacated and closed,' said 20 foot strip being shown in
black lines on said map,

the intention of this ordinance to reduce b�annin Street to an ex-
tent of 61.11 feet along and over the portion of said street to the
,wast and west of the above portion so that -the same shall be 61.11
feet wide measured from the north property line thereof.
