AN ORDINANCE
Authorizing the vacating and closing of the alley located
in Block No. 26 of the Blanahette 2nd Addition to the city of
Beaumont.
ViHEREAS, a petition duly signed by Hans 6imonsen, U. Wo
Brown, J. L. Jones, H. a. �:elly, kiirs. L. .�. Stephens, C. 0.
Brookshire, a. i1. Bibb, +d. Douglas and 1jrs. utto Hart and U. A.
Cheatham, oviners of block ilo. 26 of the Blanchette 2nd Addition
to the Uity of Beaumont has been presented to the City Commission
of the City of-beaumont requesting that such alley be closed and
vacated;

authorized to be vac a`t ed and closed , and that the title to such
alley shall revert to and become the property of the respective
owners of the land in said..Blook bordering on said alley, as
Provided by law; provided, however, that the closing of this
alley shall in no way affect the rights of the City as to
placing and maintaining therein of any sewer or water lines or
any other service or utility of the City, or owner of property
in said Block, all of which rights are hereby reserved.

that the alley located in said Block be closed in the manner
as permitted by the Statutes of the .State of Texas, and that
such alley become the absolute property of the owners of the
land in said Block adjacent to and abutting on such alley.
