AN ORDINANCE
Aut ho ri sing the vacating and c to sing the alley
located in Block No. Twenty-six (26) of the Blanchette
lst Addition to the City of Beaumont, between Avenue G
and Avenue F.
WHMEAS, a petition duly signed by J. S. Maida,
A. E. S6vard, J. L. Hellums, Cola Cuchia, Sarah J.
Robertshaw, A. E. Wknham, Willie Geraoe, H. 11. Pace
and J. T. Coleman, owners of Block No. 26 of the Blanchette
1st Addition between Avenue G and Avem e. F, in the City
of Beaumont, has been presented to the City Uommission
of the City of Beaumont requesting that such alley be
closed and vacated;
.90,11, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the al ley located between Avenue G and Avenue r
Block No. 26 of the Blanchette 1st Addition to the City
of Beaumont, be and the same is hereby sa.tborized to be
vacated and closed, and that the title to such alley shall
revert to and become the property of the respective owners
of the land in said i3lock bordering on said alley, as
provided by law; provided, however, that the closing of
this alley shall in no way affect the rights of the City
as to placing and maintaining therein of any sewer or
water lines or any other service or utility of the City,
or owners of property in said Bloch, all of which rights
are hereby reserved.

able Body that a proper order or ordinance be passed by the
city of Beaumont, auhthorizing the owners of the lots in said
block to close and vacate the alley in said block, as shown
on the map of said Addition:
