Changing the name aE" that portion of Orange Street
from its intersection with the north boundary line of the right
of way of the Texas 8: New Orleans Railway Company to 'the north
boundary line of its intersection with Crockett Street. to I'�Iariposa
Street, and providing that such ordinance shall take effect from
and after the date of its passage®

intersection with the north boundary line of the right of way
of the Texas & Neu:!I Orleans Railway- Company to the north boundary
line of its intersection with Crockett Street is but a continuation
of Mariposa sa Street, an:d
WNERFS, the: City of Beaumont has enterers into a
contract with the Uvalde Rock Asphalt Company for paving said
portion of said street under the name of MLa-riposa Street, and
it is deemed advisable to change the name of said portion of
said street to Varipo sa Street in order to.- conform to -the
City's contract witiz the Uvalde Roc's _I,sphalt Compauy.
