OF BEAUMONT STREET INI.PROVE T V; RRANTS, UVALDE ROCK ,SSPHALT COMPANY SERIES, TO THE AMOUNT OF`��( 0 °O AND D300RING kN i kLAGENCY. u:hereas, heretofore, on the 7th day of March, 1924, the City of Beaumont entered into.a contract with the Uvalde Rock Asphalt Company for the construction of certain street improvements in and for said City, which contract is recorded in book 7, of the Minutes of the City Commission of said City; and Whereas, on the 30th day' of April, 1924, a su.pblemental contract was entered into by and between said City and said Company wherein and whereby it was agredd. that the contract price for said street improvements shall be payable by the issuance of City of Beaumont Street Improvement Tarrants, not to exceed $35,000.00, to be delivered in installments in payment of work completed, as covered by certificate of City Engineer, after claim covering such certificate has been duly audited and allowed by the City Commission of said City; and WHEREAS, the said Uvalde Rock Asphalt Company has now presented to the City Commission a Certificate duly made by the City Engineer of the City of Beaumont, covering work completed under said contract, which certificate is in words and figures as follows IP a_nd WHEREAS, said Certificate has been duly audited by. this Commission and found'correct; and z WHEREAS, said Uvalde Rock Asphalt Company i�r entitled to receive payment for 90/ of said completed work; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDXIVED BY THE; CITY COMUSSION OF THS CITY OF BEkLM'ONT That 'the claim of the Uvalde mock Asphalt Company, as covered by City Engineer's Certificates herein set out,be and the same is hereby allowed. That Said City of Beaumont has received full value and consideration for said warrants numbers 2 to 42 inclusive.
