NAMING THE STREET RECENTLY CONSTRUCTED ON THE EAST 60
FEET & THE HIGH SCHOOL PROPERTY RUNNING FROM SOUTH STREET TO
SMART STREET IN THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, MILLARD AVENUE, AMID
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1,
That the � street recently constructed on the east 60
feet cf thy property of the Beaumont High School, running from
South Street to Smart Street in -the City of Beaumont, which
street has been paved and dedicated, but not named, shall
hereafter be _ known, named and called Millard Avenue

The fact that the -above street has be en ' paved and
dedicated to public use, but has not .been named or given any
designation by which the same may be known, and the fact that
for the convenience of- the public' it is necessary that- same- be-- _
immediately named so that same may be properly identified and
referred to, 'creates an imperative public emergency necessitd.ng
the suspe.n.sion of the rule requiring ordinances to be read on
three several days before their passage, and such rule is
hereby suspended and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
Passed by tYr affirmative vote of all members of the City
Commission, this the 9th day of December, A.D. 1930:
