HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 41-H4 A AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE VACATING AND CLOSING OF THE ALLEY LOCATED IN THE EL VIVA ADDIT ION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT MD ABUTTING L09B 5, 62 70 82 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14; WHEREAS, a petition duly signed by L: Busbee, Alex Purkes, L. P. Fore, J. P. Jones, Geo; Leatherwood, H. C. Ellison, C. W. Boynton and A. W. Young, ovaers of Lots 5. 6 7 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, ne 13 and 14 in the El Vi Addition to the City of Beaumont, has been presented to the City Commission of the City of Beaumont requesting that the alley abutting such lots be closed and vacated; NOW, THEREF CRE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C OMBdIS SION OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: That the alley abutting Lots 50 6, 79 8, 9, 100 11 12, 13 and 14 of the El Vina Addition to the City of Beaumont be; and the same is hereby authorized to be vacated and closed, and that the title to such alley shall revert to aid become the property of the respective owners of the land above described bordering on said alley, as provided by law; provided, however, that the closing of this alley shall in no way affect the rights of the City as to placing and maintaining therein of any sewer or water lines, or any other service or utility of the City, all of which rights are hereby reserved; Passed this the 3rd day of June, A.D. 1930; r"'Ps W-Awrlvim',w r�,� To the Honorable City Council and Commission of the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.
