AN ORDINANCE
Authorizing the vacating and closing of
the alley located in Block No. 31, of the
Blanchette Addition to the City of Beau-
mont, Texas. Whereas, a petition duly
signedby E. T. Fuller, C. E. Ligon, L. B.
Fuller, W. V. McFaddin, Mrs. Tom Lamb,
F. J. Goetz, W. A. Anderson, Mrs. Leora
Redick, owners of all the property in
Block No. 31, of the Blanchette Addition
to the City of Beaumont, has been pre-
sented to the Citv Commission of the City
of Beaumont requesting that such alley
be closed and vacated. Now, therefore,'.
be it ordained by the City Commission
of the City of Beaumont: That the alley
located in Block No. 31 of the Blanchette
Addition to the City of Beaumont be, and
the same is hereby authorized to be vacat-
ed and closed, and that the title to such
alley shall revert to and become the prop-
erty of the respective owners of the land
in said block bordering on said alley, as
provided by law; provided, however, that
the closing of this alley shall in no way
affect the rights of the City as to plac-
ing and maintaining therein of any sewer
or water lines, or any other service or
utifity of the City, all of which rights
are hereby reserved. Passed this, the 25th
day of March, A. D. 1930.
