AN ORDINANCE
Authorizing the vacating and closing of the alley located
in Block Sixty-eight (68) of the Van Wormer Addition to the City of
Beaumont, Texas.
Whereas, a petition duly signed by T:Irs. Ed. E. Eastham,
and G. F. ',jlilliams, acting as agent for the Texarkana and Fort
Smith Railway Company, owners of all of the lots in Block Sixty-
eight (68) of the Van Wormer Addition to the City of Beaumont �
abutting on the alley, has been presented to the City Commission
of the City of Beaumont requesting that such alley be closed and
vacated.

OF THE CITY OF BM9.UlSONT :
That the alley located in Block sixty-eight (68) of the
Van--,7ormer Addition to the City of Beaumont be, and the same is
hereby authorized to be vacated and closed, and that the title
to such alley shall revert to and become the property of the
respective owners of the land in said block bordering on said
alley, as provided by law; provided, however, that the closing
of this alley shall in no way affect the rights of the city s
to placing and maintaining therein of any sewer or water lines,
or any other service or utility of the city, all of which
rights are hereby reserved.
