V g Authorizing the vacating and closing of the alley located
+� in Block Twelve (12)•of the Arlington Addition and Block Thirty -
Eight (38) of the Jef Chaison Addition to the City of Beaumont.
WHEREAS, a petition duly signed by H.C. Sanders, M.L. Bonura,
C.B. Cheatham, L.R. Pomeroy, N. Langome, Jef Chaison Townsite Co.,
Miss Amanda Kaspen, Maud C. Davis, F.C. Weber, O.H. Bassett, J.M.
McDonald, A.G. Butland, L. Cycuse, P.A. Buleand, Wm. R. Wyser,
Roy McDaniel, Mrs. B -A. Thompson, Eastern Texas Electric Company,
and Mrs. N.E. Corsan, ov�ners of Block Twelve (12) of the Arling-
ton Addition and Block Thirty -Eight (38) of the. Jef Chaison Addi-
tion to the City of Beaumont, has presented to the City Commission
of the Uity of Beaumont requesting that such alley be closed and
vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TM -,I CITY
CO2r'MISSION OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the alley located in Block Twelve (12) of the Arlington
Addition and Block Thirty -Eight (38) of the Jef Chaison Addition
to the City of Beaumont be, and the same is, hereby authorized to
be vacated and closed, and that the title to such alley shall re-
vert to and become the property of the respective owners .of the
land in said block bordering on said alley, as provided by law;
provided, however, that the closing of this alley shall in no
way affect the rights of the City as to placing and maintaining
therein of any sewer or water lines, or any other service or
utility of the City, or owner of property in said blocks, all
of which rights are hereby reserved.
