Authorizing the vacating; and closing of the alley located in
Block 5 of the Blanchette Second Addition to the City of Beaumont,
Texas.
Whereas, a petition duly signed by E.Mittendorf, Mr. & Mrs.
S. Purpora, Elsa Llit Uendorf, Lrs. E.G. Saltzman, H.G. Reimers,
Mrs. H.G. Reimers, "�L. F. Tulare, Mrs. R.F. Ware, John Reyna, Mrs.
M.O. Perkins, Hoyt Bray, Mrs. J.C. Broad and Laura E. Corn,
owners of Block 5 of the Blanchette Second Addition to the City
of Beaumont, has been presented to the City Commission of the
City of Beaumont requesting that such alley be closed and vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THS CITY CORgrIISSION
OF THE CITY OF BEAMIONT:
That the alley located in Block 5 of the Blanchette Second
Addition to the City of Beaumont be, and the same is hereby, au-
thorized to be vacated and closed, and that the title to such alley
shall revert to and become the property of the respective owners
of the land in said blocks bordering on said alley, as provided by
law; provided, however,.that the closing of this alley shall in no
way affect the rights of the Uity as to placing and maintaining
therein or any sewer or water lines, or any other service or utility
of the City,

are hereby reserved

To the Honorable City Commission:
We, the undersigned, being all the property owners
who own property adjoining the alley extending from north to
south across Block Five (5) of the Blanchette Second Addition,
hereby petition your Honorable Body for an order authorizing
the closing of the alley extending across said block, between
Blanchette and Royal Streets.
We represent that said alley is not used for travel,
nor is it of any use and benefit to the property owners or the
public in general, and we deem it to the interest of all that
same be closed.
