Authorizing the vacating and closing of the alley located
in Block No. 19 of the Jirou Addition.to the City of -Beaumont,
Texas-.
Whereas,, a petition duly signed by Charles Angelo, C.B.
Shepard, and w. Angelo, "owners of Block No. 1.9 of the Jirou
Addition to the City of -Beaumont, has been presented to the
City Commission.of the City of Beaumont requesting that -such
alley be closed and vacated.

OF T P CITY OF BEATIONT
That the alley located in Block No. 19 of the Jirou Addi-
tion to the City of Bes:umont be, and the same is hereby,
authorized to be vacated and closed, and that the title, to such
alley sha.11 revert to a.nd become the property of the resD'ective
owners of the land in said block bordering on said alley, a.s-
-nrovided by law- provided, however. that the closing of _th'is-
alley shall in no way affect the rights of the City as to
Dla.cing and maintaining therein of any sewer or.water lines,
or any .other service or utility of the City, all" of which
rights are hereby reserved.

We the undersigned property owners in Block 19 of
the Jirou Addition ressjectfully request your honorable
body to close alley in eaid block, and the property
reverting back to the owners, the City retaining the
right to lay and maintainwa ter , -sewer and other
public improvements in alley.

is hereby auhorized to be vacated and
closed, 'and that the title to such alley
shall revert to and become the property

said block ,bordering on said alley, as

the closing of this alley shall in no way
affect the rights of the City as to placing
and maintaining therein of any sewer or
water lines, or any other service or utility
